Temporary Hire

StarTemps employees are immediately available to fill openings caused by vacations, sabbaticals, maternity leaves, and other short-term occurrences.

Direct Hire

Our extensive pool of skilled applicants is an excellent place to look for intelligent and highly motivated full-time employees. All StarTemps employees are rigorously screened and pre-qualified based on individual and professional abilities.

Temp-To-Direct

Temp-to-Direct is the proven way to evaluate an employee’s abilities and fit within your organization, without the financial commitment of a full-time hire. StarTemps can help tailor employee evaluation periods to meet your specific needs.

Min. 40 WPM or better with 5% error rate or less

Software Knowledge
Knows a "processing" application (i.e., MS Word) at proficient level
Knows "processing" (i.e., MS Word) and "spreadsheet" (i.e., MS Excel) applications at proficient level, basic knowledge of other sofware (i.e., graphics, databases, etc.)
Proficient in major business software application (i.e., MS Office Suite)
Skill Set
Some data entry and/or spreadsheet experience; general clerical, filing and office protocol skills
Functional area of expertise (i.e., Sales Administration, HR, etc.) and able to work independently on multiple projects
Project management, supervisory and team management experience; has supported Director, VP or C-level executive
Experience

Education
